Every rate that moves by notification is an input, read off your own document, because a tool that hardcodes a rate is wrong the day it changes. Nothing you type leaves the browser.
Bill of entry clock
Three clocks run against every box and the importer starts none of them. This puts a date and a rupee figure on each.
- The last date the bill of entry can be presented
- Free time expiry for detention and for storage, as two dates
- Rupees already burnt, and the burn if the box sits longer
Detention and storage are counted separately, because the line and the terminal grant different free time and charge different money.

People get the order of the stack wrong, not the percentages. Every line shows the base it was applied to.
- Each levy against the base it is actually charged on
- The grossed up integrated tax base, the most miscalculated figure on a bill of entry
- Landed cost per unit, with the creditable tax taken out
The surcharge base excludes trade remedies and the integrated tax base includes them, so on a consignment carrying anti-dumping the two bases come apart.

- Due date from the shipping bill or the let export order
- Days remaining, or days overdue, never floored at zero
- Outstanding value, and the write off ceilings that may apply
Month ends are clamped, so a shipping bill on the 31st does not quietly gain three days on its deadline.
